Chantalle Smeets has been active as a professional artist for 20 years after 4 years of WIK (Artist Income Benefit Act) in Maastricht Netherlands. Together with Martiene Stevens (her partner and artist), they manage Kunsthuis Trobar Riemst (B).
Chantalle Smeets has developed her own style during those years, which is visible in her sculptures of bronze, stone, ceramics and wood. Her source of inspiration is nature. She has exhibited at various galleries and castles (including sculpture gardens) in the Netherlands and Belgium. In addition to her sculptures in various sizes, she also exhibits paintings on canvas and panel in mixed techniques.
